Welcome Back!

I just arrived home from a well deserved vacation to Rhode Island.  I was born and raised there, and although I love living in North Carolina, I am drawn to my hometown and the memories I have left behind.

Theres nothing like being minutes away from the salty smell of the ocean or enjoying all of what New England has to offer when it comes to food.  I think I spent most of my trip planning which restaurant I was going to eat at next.  From Iggys doughboys, clamcakes, and chowder, to the sweet and slushy taste of Dels Lemonade,  Rhode Island cooking will always have a special place in my heart, and stomach!

Now I am back home and brought 2 of my best friends with me.  It has been a great time and will be so sadly missed when they go back home, but I am fortunate to have them here with me now.

Art classes are filling up and there are limited slots left for the Saturday class.  At the end of August, there will be more slots available, so please call to reserve your spot now.

Ladies night is once again, almost full.  I have 2 slots available and will close out the class very soon.  It is a great opportunity to eat some great food, meet new friends, and take the time to be creative and relax! Please contact me to reserve your spot!

Charlotte 2011

We decided to take a last minute getaway to Charlotte this weekend.  Thought the weather was going to be not so nice, but it ended up being great and we enjoyed ourselves so much.  I took lots of pictures of buildings and of course the kids.  Love my Photoshop!  We went on an old fashioned carriage ride.  First time ever!  It was so nice.   Enjoy!

The New Session is Just Around the Corner!

Session 3 is coming to a close and session 4 is patiently awaiting.  Every session I try to make it even better than the one before and put alot of thought into making it fun for the students.

I have ordered a ton of a particular book called "Beautiful Oops", it is an all time favorite of mine.  It teaches the children its ok to make mistakes and allows them to be creative without thinking that they will mess up.  The illustrations and fun flaps make it fun for the kids to read.  I will be giving these books away during class as well as track out camps.

In addition, I will be having more contests and fun things planned for the kids.  I cant wait!
