Penguins in August?

I did this cute little project with the students.  My thought was to really get them to be precise, neat, and patient!  Patience was the hardest part.  I wanted them to know how to use the paint brush and how to make nice clean lines.  Using a simple penguin shape, it was easier to show them how to move the brush and make it work for the space they are trying to paint in.

We then painted the background and added some glitter to make it represent snow.  They came out really cute.  I didnt get a chance to take many photos, the end of class gets so chaotic that out of 65 students I took 4 pictures.  Oops, bad art teacher!

Face Painting Website

I dont know why it has taken me so long to create a website for my other line of work, Face Painting.  It will go live within the next few hours, still have to tweak it, but I am happy with the way it looks and I did it all myself!  The website is http://www.timeforfacepainting.com/.  Let me know what you think, likes, dislikes, comments.  Love to hear feedback.

Keeping Up!

I have been out of touch for a few weeks, had some friends from back home that came and spent some time with us.  It has been hectic and fun.  I have lots to share and many photos for you to see.

First, our ladies night was a HUGE success!  Sold out once again, it was amazing.  We had such a variety and ate so much delicious food.  If you havent come to a ladies night yet, you must do so!  Please visit our website to view our upcoming dates.  We plan on having some holiday themed nights which will be sure to please.

Our next bit of news....Track Out Camps. 

Art Track Out Camps have been a huge success as well.  Every camp has been full.  We have enforced a new payment policy.  Payment must be paid in full before the track out camp.  We cannot reserve your spot until the camp is paid.  There is a high demand for this class and this will help keep everything orderly.
