Watercolor Koi Fish

Thought this lesson might be too involved for the younger children, but after closely observing the shape of the fish, I realized the basic tear drop shape makes the Koi fishs' outline and it should be easy to replicate.  We have been talking alot in class about perspective and "how you view/see" something.  We envisioned ourselves looking down into a gigantic fish aquarium, and what we saw, is what we paint.

The results were again amazing.  Loved all the varieties and different compositions the students came up with.  Here are the results.
