Panda Bear Drawings using Charcoal and Oil Pastels

This was in introduction to the world of charcoal by the kids.  It is very messy and if you are working with it for the first time, it can be challenging.  It is used alot for still lifes, but I thought to incorporate it with a little bit of imagination and Time For Art Kids came up with Panda Bears!

They are such adorable creatures.  Did you know that when they are born they are about the size of a stick of butter?  Can you imagine something so big can be so small at one time?

Here are some samples of the students work.
